ASUS is preparing to release an updated version of the Asus Eee PC 1001PX that one of Asus’s most inexpensive netbook. It is called the ASUS Eee PC 1011PX netbook and will be sold as the Asus Eee PC R011PX in some markets.

The upcoming ASUS Eee PC 1011PX netbook is powered by a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N455 processor, 1GB DDR3 memory, Intel GMA 3150 integrated graphics, and 250GB hard drive.

ASUS 1011PX netbook is packs a 10.1-inch display, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, webcam, and pre-loaded with Windows 7 Starter OS.

The ASUS Eee PC 1011PX should be available in European market in the coming months. It is expected that its official announcement will take place at CeBIT 2011 (March 1-5, Hannover, Germany).
