ASUS is going prepare release newest Eee PC netbook, namely Asus Eee PC 1016P. It was approved by US FCC (Federal Communications Commission) last week and appeared in March at CeBIT 2010.
ASUS Eee PC 1016P netbook is made on the next-gen Intel Pine Trail platform, a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N455 or a 1.83GHz Intel Atom N475. It is packs 1GB/2GB DDR3 RAM, 160 GB/250 GB hard drive.
The Asus Eee PC 1016P has advanced wireless capabilities: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 or Bluetooth 3.0, as well as 3.5G/3.75G modem or WiMAX. There is a card reader, webcam and Ethernet controller.
Eee PC 1016P netbook sports a 10.1-inch LED backlight display with resolution of 1024×600 pixels, an Intel GMA 3150 integrated graphics, and up to 9 hours of battery life.
It should be hits US market in the coming weeks, no word on pricing.
