ASUS Eee PC 1201K Netbook with 12-inch, AMD Geode chip

ASUS has updated its Eee PC family netbook with AMD-powered, the Asus Eee PC 1201K. The new netbook has a Chiclet keyboard and built the Geode chips.

The Asus Eee PC 1201K netbook is powered by a 1.4GHz AMD Geode NX 1750 processor with a 25W TDP, 1GB of RAM, and 160GB/250GB/320GB hard drive.

Unlike most netbooks on market that brings 10.1-inch screen, the Asus Eee PC 1201K is sports a 12.1-inch LED-backlit display with resolution of 1366×768 pixels.

The Asus Geode netbook  is equipped with 0.3-megapixel webcam, card reader, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n (optional), Bluetooth 2.1, and a 6-cell battery enabling just two hours of use.

Asus Eee PC 1201K is running on Windows XP Home. There is no word on pricing or release date.
