We had hoped that ASUS provide a new model of Asus Eee PC 1201N on sale as soon as 22 October. It seems however that they will have to wait another month before we see it on store shelves.
Asus Eee PC 1201N netbook will be based on Nvidia ION platform. It is offer better performance than some of the models based on Intel. Asus Eee PC 1201N mini-laptop will operate under the control of the operating system, Windows 7 Home Premium.
Specifications of Asus Eee PC 1201N is as follows:
* A 12.1-inch screen with resolution of 1366×768 pixel
* Processor 1.6GHz Intel Atom 330 dual-core
* 3GB RAM
* 320GB hard drive (with 500GB of online storage)
* Integrated graphics card GeForce 9400M IGP
* Connectivity: Wi-Fi, Ethernet, Bluetooth
Asus Eee PC 1201N netbook will have 0.3 megapixel camera, touchpad supports a multi-gesture, SD card slot and 6-cell battery.
Price exactly this Asus Eee PC 1201N model is likely to be around 500€. However, we know that low-end version for single-core CPU, with less RAM and smaller HDD is probably available.
