Asus is already preparing new ION 2-based netbook, called ASUS Eee PC 1215N. This netbook is more powerful, feature rich but more expensive than Asus Eee PC 1201N. The ASUS Eee PC 1215N is expected to be available in early June at Computex 2010.

ASUS Eee PC 1215N netbook is support for Nvidia’s Optimus technology that provides on-the-fly switching between integrated GMA 3150 core and ION 2 GPU. That technology is enabling better battery life.

This netbook is powered by a 1.66GHz Intel Atom D510 dual core CPU, two USB 3.0 ports, up to 320 GB hard drive, and a 12.1-inch display with resolution of 1366×768 pixels (like the 1201PN). Price of new ASUS Eee PC 1215N is expected at 400 Euro.
