Asus Eee PC T101M convertible tablet debut in April
Asus is going to ship its convertible netbook in Europe, the Asus Eee PC T101MT. It is first appears December last year and demonstrating at CES 2010 in January. Asus Eee PC T101M is allowing its screen to fold down over the keyboard for use in tablet mode.
The Asus Eee PC T101M convertible tablet is powered by a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 CPU, an Intel GMA 3150 graphics, 2GB of DDR2 RAM, and a 320GB hard drive + 500GB ASUS WebStorage. It has packs a 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen LED Backlight display with resolution of 1024 x 600 pixel and multitouch gestures support, a 0.3 megapixel webcam, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, and BluetoothV2.1 + EDR.
Asus Eee PC T101M netbook is equipped with stereo speaker, VGA, mic, headphone jack, three USB ports, and a memory card slot (MMC/SD/SDHC). It is pre-installed with Windows 7 Home Premium OS. Dimensions of Asus Eee PC T101M are 264 x 181 x 31 mm and weight 1.3kg. It is available in Italy with white color only for 499 Euros in April 2010. Asus Eee PC T101M convertible tablet also is available in US market early next month for about US$499. As mentions, Apple iPad also has similar price tag $499.
