Asus has begun shipping its new convertible tablet in the US market, known as Asus Eee PC T101MT. Previously, this netbook has already appears in Europe.

The Asus Eee PC T101MT is powered by a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor, GMA 3150 integrated graphics, 1GB of RAM, and a 160GB hard drive. This convertible tablet netbook packs a 10.1-inch touchscreen with 1024×600 pixel, a multi-gesture touchpad, a 0.3 megapixel webcam, an SDHC card reader, and Bluetooth. Asus Eee PC T101MT convertible tablet has 802.11n Wi-Fi, 10/100 Ethernet, and a 35W/h battery with provides up to 6.5 hours of runtime.

It is pre-installed with Windows 7 Starter OS. Asus Eee PC T101MT can be purchased for start price at $499.
