ASUS EeeMedia EM0501 Nettop as Media Center [CeBIT 2010]

In additional to ASUS Eee Box EB1501U nettop with USB3.0 port, ASUS at CeBIT 2010 also unveils other home theater PC, the ASUS EeeMedia EM0501. It is suitable to playback a multitude of digital files in the living room, mini desktop PC with HD capabilities. It has glossy black finish with ASUS logo and power button on front.

ASUS EeeMedia EM0501 nettop is boasts an 800MHz Samsung S5PV210 processor, 512MB of DDR2 memory, and a 2.5-inch hard drive (unknown capacity).

The ASUS EeeMedia EM0501 HTPC is packs WiFi 802.11n and an Ethernet port. It is consume as low as 10W of power. ASUS EM0501 is capable to playback HD video in most formats, digital photos, and music including such 1080P/720p Full HD, H.264, WMV, MPEG1-4, HDV, VC-1, DivX, XviD, AVI, VOB, MOV, MKV, RMVB, and JPEG, GIF, BMP, PNG, TIFF/TIF, and MP3, WMA / PCM, AAC, Dolby Digital, OGG, FLAC.

ASUS EeeMedia EM0501 is bundled with a remote control to easily navigate. Unfortunately, ASUS is not reported about pricing or release date.
