Asus N53 Sandy Bridge-powered laptops hit Europe

Asus has just launching a couple of new Sandy Bridge-powered laptops in Europe, the Asus N53 series. This portable entertainment centers including the Asus N53SV-SX387V and the Asus N53SN-SZ127V. Both notebooks are based on Intel’s Huron River platform.

The high-end model, Asus N53SN-SZ127V laptop is boasts a 2.0 GHz Intel Core i7-2630QM processor, 6GB of RAM, a GeForce GT 550M GPU, and a 500GB hard drive (7200rpm).

The Asus N53SV-SX387V notebook powered by a 2.3GHz Intel Core i5-2410M CPU, 4GB of RAM, a GeForce GT 540M graphics card, and a 500GB HDD with 5400 rpm.

Both Asus N53 laptops are packs a 15.6-inch LED-backlit display with 1366 x 768 resolution, 4x Blu-ray combo drive, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a webcam, a 3-in-1 card reader, and a 6-cell battery. There are USB 3.0 and HDMI connectors, as well as running on Windows 7 Professional OS.

The base price of Asus N53SV-SX387V is €949, while the Asus N53SN-SZ127V has €1299.
