After news about availability of Eee PC X101 slim netbook, Asus has also introduced its Intel’s Huron River-based notebooks. These Sandy Bridge laptops are dubbed the Asus P31S and Asus P41S that aimed to use in withstand tougher environments.
For helps recover when it’s stolen or lost, both Asus P-Series laptops are pre-installed with the LoJack software.
Asus P31S and P41S Specifications
The Asus P31S and P41S notebooks are powered by a 2nd generation Core processor (Core i3-2310M, i5-2410M/2520M or i7-2620M), and up to a 750GB hard drive.
Asus P31S laptop has 13.3-inch display, a 1GB GeForce GT 520M discrete graphics, and weight 1.78kg. Asus P41S notebook packs a GeForce GT 540M 1GB graphics, an optical drive, and as low as 2kg of weights.
Two ASUSPro notebooks are brings a 14-inch display, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Gigabit Ethernet, a 3-in-1 card reader, Altec Lansing speakers, a 0.3 megapixel webcam, and optional Bluetooth 2.1.
Its 6-cell/8-cell battery is capable to charge to 90 percent in 90 minutes and enabling for up to 10 hours of use.
