ASUS ROG G53 and G73 3D-ready Notebooks

ASUS has started selling their 3D gaming laptops in the European market, called the Asus G73 (JW-91121V) and the Asus G53 (JW-IX159V). They are the Republic of Gamers (ROG) family.

The Asus G73 and G53 notebooks is based on Intel Calpella platform, nVidia 3D Vision, 120 Hz refresh rate LED-backlit screen that bundled with an Nvidia 3D Vision kit.

The heart of Asus G73 JW-91121V 3D notebook is a 1.73GHz Intel Core i7-740QM processor, 8GB of RAM, 1TB hard drive, GeForce GTX 460M graphics accelerator, Blu-ray writer, Gigabit Ethernet LAN, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, a web camera, and a 8-in-1 card reader. The Asus G73 laptop is sports a 5200 mAh battery and a 17.3-inch display.

ASUS G53 JW-IX159V 3D notebook offers a 15.6-inch display, same CPU and GPU of G73, 6GB of RAM, 750GB hard drive, one USB 3.0 port, and Blu-ray combo drive.

Both Asus ROG notebooks are pre-installed with Windows 7 Home Premium OS. Price of Asus G53 is €1,899, while the Asus G73 is €2,199.
