Asus ROG GX700 launched, the world’s first liquid cooled laptop

Asus has decided to launch a new laptop of company’s Republic of Gamers (ROG) lineup in Asia. It is dubbed the Asus ROG GX700, which is world’s first liquid cooled laptop. This machine brings a number of exciting features and technology. It has a detachable ROG-exclusive Hydro Overclocking System cooling module.

That’s combined with the 6th-generation Intel Mobile K-SKU ‘Skylake’ processor and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 graphics card to give superb performance experience. The premium flagship laptop comes with 16GB of DDR4 RAM and allowing users to expand up to 64GB. Its 17-inch 4K UHD gaming laptop sports NVIDIA G-SYNC technology that gives detailed and smooth visuals.

More details, the Hydro Overclocking System from machine provides cooling capabilities and supports the possibility of superior overclocking. Reportedly, it is able to overclocked up to 48 percent and the 64GB DDR4 memory can be overclocked by up to 43 percent.

In terms of cooling, Asus ROG GX700 uses a liquid-cooling dock that based on a custom self-sealing valve design. It makes a quiet and highly reliable pump. Its dual 92mm radiators capable of dissipating over 500W of heat. However, the system also provides traditional cooling and capable to run without the liquid-cooling dock.

In case, you want a lower display specs, company has also unveiled the Asus ROG Strix GL502 15.6-inch gaming laptop that offers 4K display. It sports the latest quad-core Intel Core i7 processor and up to NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980M GPU. The new gaming notebook is currently available for sale across all Asus channels and Exclusive Stores.
