ASUS has announced a new high speed wireless router, RT-N16. This router is designed to create a wireless home network. New ASUS RT-N16 has works at frequencies of 2.4-2.5GHz and supports the wireless standards of Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n. In doing so, the maximum speed of data exchange with the new router can reach 300 Mbps and 8 times faster operation. This indicator allows you to use the device for video streaming, online video, and VoIP telephone talks with minimal interference.

ASUS RT-N16 Router is equipped with a powerful CPU and 128MB DDR2 memory, which increases its multitasking. In addition, there are four Gigabit Ethernet slots to create a high-speed wired network. There are two USB ports in handy for users that want to organize a secure network to work with personal data (documents, photographs, audio and video), as well as for connecting external devices, such as a printer or a network storage drive. This wireless router has support for WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) and latest Wireless-N Local Area Networking standard for wireless communications.

ASUS RT-N16 Wireless Router is designed for continuous operation at 24/7. It is able to download files on client devices, even when computers are turned off. In addition, the router is equipped with three external antennas, weighs 470 grams and its dimensions make up 216×161.9×40.5 mm. Value of this interesting device has not yet been reported.
