Asus Transformer AiO P1801 Android tablet / Windows desktop PC hybrid debuts in April [video]

Asus has just officially announced the availability of its new all-in-one PC / tablet hybrid device, the Asus Transformer AiO P1801. This device is first showcased in January at CES 2013 event. In fact, the Transformer AiO is the world’s first All-in-One PC to have a detachable display. So this Asus machine is consist of two main parts – a desktop unit and a detachable 18.4-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and support for 10-point multitouch.  Asus-Transformer-AiO-P1801-Officially

As dock feature, the ASUS Transformer AiO P1801 has a 3.1GHz Intel Core i5-3350P quad-core processor and nVidia GeForce GT 730M discrete graphic card. It packs 8GB of RAM, 2TB hard drive, and Windows 8 OS pre-installed. The desktop of Transformer AiO P1801 is equipped with a SD memory card slot, optical drive, speakers, HDMI and USB 3.0 ports.

In Android-based tablet form, the P1801 Transformer AiO boasts a NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage. It runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system and provides MicroSD card slot and Mini USB 2.0 port. Its battery life is enabling up to 5 hours.

According to source, the Asus Transformer AiO hybrid should be available in the US starting April 12, 2013 and expected price of $1299.
