During Mobile World Congress 2012 event in Barcelona, ASUS has introduced its new tablet, the Asus Transformer Pad Infinity 700. New high-end tablet delivers home cinema qualities that brings a 10.1-inch Super IPS+ touchscreen with 1920 x 1200 resolution, 600 nits brightness (viewable in sunlight), and protected by Gorilla Glass 2.
The ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity 700 will come in two variants: WiFi-only and 4G LTE-support. The first model boasts a 1.6GHz nVidia Tegra 3 quad-core processor, while 3G/LTE model sports a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Krait dual-core CPU.
Both models are have identical specifications including 1GB of RAM, 16GB/32GB/64GB of onboard storage, a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front-facing camera.
Running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, its battery is enabling up to 10 hours of continuous use per single charge (or 14-16 hours with Li-polymer battery upgrade).
There is a dock that delivers a QWERTY keyboard and a secondary battery.
Cost of Asus Transformer Pad Infinity 700 series tablets will be starts from $600 to $800.
