Asus U36S Sandy Bridge-based notebook
Asus is preparing release a new Sandy Bridge-based notebook, the Asus U36S. This ultra-thin laptop is basically successor to the Asus U36Jc.
New Asus U36S notebook has magnesium-aluminum alloy housing that fingerprint-free, light, and tough. The U36S laptop is powered by a 2nd-gen Intel Core processor, dual-channel DDR3 memory controller, and up to 750GB hard drive with Windows 7 pre-loaded.
This Asus U36 series laptop packs a 13.3-inch glossy display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and 16:9 aspect ratio, a multi-card reader, USB 3.0, fingerprint reader, Wi-Fi, Gigabit Ethernet LAN, a multi-gesture touchpad, a Chiclet keyboard, a HDMI output, and a 4-cell/8-cell battery. Weight of Asus U36S laptop is about 1.9kg but only 19mm thick.
The Asus U36S notebook has also brings the Express Gate instant-on OS and Super Hybrid Engine power saving technology. At this moment, there is no information about new Asus U36S Sandy Bridge-based notebook.
