ASUS U50VG, K50AB, K50IJ, and K70AB notebooks
ASUS has released a series of new notebooks based on Intel and AMD, and with screens size ranging from 15.6-inch to 17.3-inch. All the new products is most interesting is 15.6-inch ASUS U50VG-XX060C model. The laptop is based on the Intel Core 2 Duo T6500 CPU with a clock speed of 2.1 GHz, 4 GB of RAM and a NVIDIA GeForce 105M with 512 MB of graphics memory. ASUS U50VG equipped with 250 GB hard disk, 1366 x 768 pixels resolution, and 16:9 aspect ratio. There is a HDMI port, as well as 1.3-megapixel webcam, and support Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. The notebook is equipped with backlit chiclet-style keyboard. Its price in Italy is currently stands at €943.20 including tax (about $1,320).
ASUS K50 series notebooks with two new 15.6-inch are ASUS K50AB based on the 2.3GHz AMD Turion 64X2 Ultra ZM-84 CPU and ASUS K50IJ with 2GHz Intel Pentium dual-core T4200 CPU. Both laptops have 4GB of RAM, while the first uses the ATI Mobility Radeon HD4570 with 512 MB of graphics memory, and while the second uses the Intel GMA X4500HD graphics with shared memory. Cost ASUS K50AB and K50IJ models are at €793.20 (about $1,110) and €628.80 (about $880) respectively.
Another 15.6-inch model is an ASUS F52Q-SX071E. This notebook is based on another 2GHz Intel Pentium dual-core T3200 processor and GL40 chipset, and 2GB of RAM. This laptop is designed for a business model, it comes with the Windows Vista OS, which can be downgraded to Windows XP, and at a price of €643.20 (about $898).
And finally, two 17.3-inch models are ASUS K70AB-TY002C and ASUS K70AB-TY001C. The first model uses an AMD Turion 64X2 RM 74 processor with a frequency of 2.2 GHz, while the latter notebook is uses AMD Turion 64X2 Ultra ZM-84 processor with a clock speed of 2.3 GHz. Both systems have 4 GB of DDR2 RAM and ATI Mobility Radeon HD4570 graphics with 512 MB of graphics memory. Its display is 1600 x 900 pixels LED-backlit display. ASUS K70AB-TY002C and ASUS K70AB-TY001C Notebooks will go on sale at a price of €793.20 (about $1,107) and €868.80 (about $ 1215) respectively.
