ASUS has introduced its first series of compact audio system for notebook, uBoom. It includes models of ASUS uBoom and ASUS uBoom Q. As promised manufacturer, the location of the speakers in them is designed in such a way that the sound picture for the user is most comfortable.

ASUS uBoom Audio system consists of a combined in one building-block of two 2-inch speakers and a 2.5-inch subwoofer, which together give out up to 24W Power, and uBoom Q is only 2.4W. For convenience audio connection of sound bar speakers is carried out via USB 2.0. ASUS uBoom Q via USB 2.0 interface and receives an additional source, which helps eliminate the power adapter and extra cables. This gives more mobility and convenience in installation. The manufacturer positions this series as “what is needed for mobile people“. ASUS uBoom can be used as a stand for the notebook, providing improved ventilation.

ASUS uBoom weight is 3kg and ASUS uBoom Q is only 400 grams. Dimensions of uBoom reach 595x135x90 mm and uBoom Q is 290x110x72 mm. The official date of appearance in the sale and the estimated price has not yet announced.
