ASUS UL, UnLimited series with ultra-slim aluminum notebooks
Taiwanese company, ASUS has officially announced a series of UL ultra-compact notebooks, made in an aluminum casing, whose thickness does not exceed 2.5 cm. It is notebook series that suitable for individuals who accept zero compromise on performance and its design is very best of cutting-edge computing. They are ASUS UnLimited Series (ASUS UL Series).
All new items, built on the basis of energy efficient platform, Intel CULV. The ASUS UL Series is able to work up to 12 hours of battery life.
ASUS UnLimited Series includes 15.6-inch with 16:9 HD slim-type LCD (1366 x 768) model UL50A, UL50Ag and UL50Vg. They are based on Core 2 Duo (1.3 GHz) and CORE 2 Solo (1.4 GHz), equipped with an Intel GMA 4500 graphics adapter and 4GB (maximum) of RAM.
ASUS UL50Ag Notebook also can be equipped with a Celeron (1.2 GHz) or Core 2 Duo (1.4 GHz) processor, and ASUS UL50Vg optionally equipped with graphics system based on the GeForce G 210M and 8GB of RAM. Of course, more productive card significantly reduces battery life.
Two new ASUS UL Series notebooks, UL80Ag and UL80V are equipped with 14-inch with 16:9 HD slim-type LCD (1366 x 768) display and have the same characteristics as the UL50Ag/Vg model.
ASUS UL20A laptop has brings 12.1-inch LED Backlight WXGA Glare-type (1366 x 768) display, Celeron (1.2 GHz) or Core 2 Duo (1.3 GHz) processor, graphics system based on the Intel chipset and HDD capacity from 160GB to 320GB, and ASUS UL30A is equipped 13.3-inch 16:9 HD slim-type LCD (1366 x 768) display and a Core 2 Duo (1.4 GHz). Both low-end laptop models lack an optical drive.
Starting date sales of ASUS UnLimited Series notebooks and their prices are not reported.
