ASUS UK has announced three new lightweight notebooks in line of UnLimited (UL) series: UL30, UL50AG and UL50VG. All new items are based on Intel’s CULV platform.

These laptops are made with brushed aluminium cover and Altec Lansing speakers, based on the Intel Core 2 Duo SU7300 processor, equipped with up to 500GB hard drive, WiFi a/g/n and Bluetooth, a webcam and touchpad supports multitouch technology. It is running on Windows 7 OS.

All of notebooks are differing in screen sizes (13.3-inch for ASUS UL30; 15.6-inch for ASUS UL50AG and UL50VG) and graphics system (the specific model of graphics card does not specify).

According to the manufacture, these notebooks are able to work out 12-hour battery life for all-day computing with activation of energy-saving profiles, ASUS Power4Gear. It is offers four power profiles (for high-performance, entertainment, quiet office, and battery saving). But if you have prefer to flush away its battery in short order, you can always switch to “Turbo” and it will boost performance, according to ASUS, it will increased by 33% (at the same time, naturally, reducing battery life).

These ASUS UnLimited Series, UL30, UL50AG and UL50VG will be debuts in the UK from October 22nd. ASUS UL30, UL50AG and UL50VG are priced at £599, £699 and £799, respectively.
