ASUS has updated its UL series notebook, known as ASUS UL80JT. The ASUS UL80JT notebook is based on a modern processor, a 1.73GHz Intel Core i7 CPU and its main feature is the extended battery life. According to manufacture, its battery can operate for 12 hours.
It is possible since use of hybrid graphics system (dual GPUs), consisting of an integrated controller, Intel and discrete nVidia GeForce 310 accelerator. Switching between them is dynamic, depending on the current load, thus reducing the consumption of energy.
Its processor speed is also regulated in real time, while reducing simple and rising at peak moments. In addition, a portable computer realized a number of other energy-saving technologies.
Other specifications of this ASUS UL80JT laptop have not been disclosed. But it has an estimated price of $1000.
