Like its bigger sibling, the handset offers an affordable price, just $149 without the need to commit to a specific carrier or — in other words — without a contract.

The Asus ZenFone 5 smartphone boasts a 2GHz Intel Atom Z2580 dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM. In memory term, there are 4GB of onboard storage with expandable via microSD card support (up to 64GB). Anyway, the ZenFone 5 has a lower 2,050 mAh battery and an 8MP rear camera than the Asus ZenFone 6 smartphone. But both cheap phones have a backside-illumination (BSI) sensor, ASUS PixelMaster technology, wide-aperture f/2.0 lens, and a 2MP front-facing camera.

Running on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean software, the Asus ZenFone 5 smartphone delivers its ZenUI on the top that help users make the most of the functionality enhancements. Moreover, it is equipped with 42 Mbps HSPA+, WCDMA, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS, and a 2,050 mAh battery. Dimensions of ASUS ZenFone 5 are 148.2 x 72.8 x 10.3 – 5.5mm and weighs 144grams.
