ATEN International introduced the new 2-port and 4-port USB 2.0 switch to the periphery. ATEN US221A and US421A can use one multifunction printer or USB device, such as a scanner or an external drive, along with 2 or 4 PC and Mac.
ATEN US221A and US421A peripheral device can switch between computers using the buttons on the switch, a special utility or function Auto Switch. When ATEN US221A/US421A is connecting to a USB printer, it automatically detects the received print job and connects the computers in accordance with the sequence of tasks. Auto Switch function allows users to send print jobs at any time.
ATEN US221A has weight 54g and size (LxWxH) 7.20×6.60×2.50 cm, while ATEN US421A has weight 97g and dimensions (LxWxH) 10.20×7.60×2.30 cm.
ATEN US221A and US421A Peripheral Switches have indicated port status with LEDs. Data transfer rate up to 480 Mbps makes them an acceptable solution and to work with external hard drive and for printing large files. ATEN US221A and US421A are available for sale at the price of 24.95 euros and 39.95 euros respectively (excluding VAT).
