AMD has recently rolls out professional graphics accelerators, called ATI FirePro V9800. This GPU is ideal for powerful workstations.

The ATI FirePro V9800 has brings 1600 stream processors, 4GB of GDDR5 memory with 256-bit bus. Its performance is reached 2.72 teraflops (trillion floating point operations per second). It is supports API DirectX 11 and OpenGL 4.0, ATI CrossFire Pro and ATI Eyefinity Technology. The power consumption does not exceed 225W.

ATI FirePro V9800 GPU is packs six Mini DisplayPort connectors, which allows users to connect up to six displays. It is used PCI Express 2.1 x16 slot.

New ATI FirePro V9800 will be available at expected price of $3,500.
