AT&T Airo Wireless A25is First Intrinsically Safe Phone
AT&T USA mobile operator and Airo Wireless announced rugged industrial mobile device, called Airo Wireless A25is.
According to source, the Airo Wireless A25is is the world’s first intrinsically safe-certified smartphone. It has approved for UL 913 (North America) and meets MIL-SPEC 810-F/G (rugged military specifications). Airo Wireless A25is Phone is provides survive a fall of almost 50 inches at least 26 times.
Airo Wireless A25is Phone is suitable to use in industries that operate in potentially explosive environments, such as process and chemical manufacturing, the military, utilities, petrochemical industry, pharmaceutical and consumer packaged industries.
The AT&T Airo Wireless A25is Phone is powered by a 416MHz processor, 2.8-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 320×240 pixels, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, a miniSD memory card slot, and 3.5mm headset jack. It is supported Push-to-Talk Technology and running Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional.
Unfortunately, there is no word on pricing but AT&T Airo Wireless A25is is now available for sale.
