AT&T HTC Surround WP7 smartphone with powerful sound
The Taiwanese company, HTC and AT&T US mobile operator just announced the new smartphone called the HTC 7 Surround (aka HTC Surround). The handset is also running on Windows Phone 7 OS.
A key feature of new HTC Surround is its design that made out of side slider form factor with powerful speaker, it is not QWERTY keyboard. It is noted that the HTC Surround smartphone is utilized Dolby Mobile and SRS Surround Sound for improved sound quality. On the rear panel, it has kickstand that suitable for watch video (remind of the HTC HD7 smartphone). Thus, HTC 7 Surround smartphone is supposed to be used as a portable audio system or pocket cinema.
Inside of AT&T HTC Surround smartphone is sports a 3.8-inch TFT display with resolution of 480 x 800 pixels (WVGA), Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, 3.5mm audio jack, 5MP autofocus camera with LED flash and record 720p HD video, GPS, 576MB RAM, 512MB ROM, 8GB internal memory, MicroUSB port, and a 1230 mAh battery. Its weighs is 165g.
The HTC Surround smartphone is supports GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz and UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA 850/1900/2100 MHz. HTC Surround WP7 Smartphone is boasts a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.
Cost of HTC Surround smartphone is $199 on a two-year contract and will be available in US market later this year.
