AT&T offers NEC Terrain Rugged Business-oriented Smartphone with Enhanced Push-to-Talk

Just unveiled the Samsung Galaxy S 4 Active waterproof/dustproof smartphone, AT&T has officially announced a new ultra rugged smartphone in the US, namely the NEC Terrain. Aimed to business-oriented users, this handset comes with AT&T Enhanced Push-to-Talk (EPTT). It also provides on-device encryption, remote deployment, as well as remote lock and wiping.


The NEC rugged smartphone fits the IP67 rating that submersible up to 1 meter for up to 30 minutes. Moreover, AT&T NEC Terrain is survive in shock, dust, rain, pressure, humidity and extreme temperatures, this based on Mil-STD 810G standard.
