AT&T Pantech Discover dual-core Android smartphone just $50

New affordable Android smartphone, the Pantech Discover has just officially introduced by AT&T. This Pantech smartphone offers a feature-packed experience and a cost-effective price in 4G LTE capabilities. Customers can purchase the Pantech Discover dual-core smartphone starting January 11 (online and in stores) for cost $49.99 on a two-year contract.

Running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS, the Pantech Discover is pre-loaded with new AT&T DriveMode app to help prevent texting while driving. It is become the first handset to have this application. Inside, the Discover has a 1.5GHz Qualcomm MSM8960 Snapdragon S4 Pro dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, and 16GB of onboard storage.

New smartphone packs a 4.8-inch touchscreen display with HD (1280 x 720) resolutions, and a 2,100 mAh battery.

It brings an impressive 12.6MP rear-facing camera with ability to 4x zoom, 1080p (1920 x 1080 pixel at 30fps) record and playback video. Moreover, its front-facing camera is a 2 megapixel sensor.

To rich audio experience, AT&T Pantech Discover provides dual 3D surround sound speakers. Other features are a microSD card slot (up to 32GB), DLNA, WiFi, Bluetooth, and NFC (near field communication) to share content. Made out of plastic, metal, and glass, this phone is measures 134.2 x 68.6 x 9.1 mm and weighs 4.76 ounces.

Based on its specs, this handset will stand next to the Samsung Galaxy S III smartphone but sold by AT&T for $199.99 on contract.
