Good news, Sony Ericsson Xperia Play 4G smartphone is already available on AT&T. This Sony Ericsson handset is coming with a pretty reasonable price, $49.99 on a new 2-year contract and requires a minimum data service starting at $15 per month.

The AT&T Sony Ericsson Xperia Play 4G smartphone is basically the same SE Xperia Play, which currently sold by Verizon and worldwide. But the new one is having ’4G’ suffix on its name that provides AT&T’s 4G network (HSPA).

Sony Ericsson Xperia Play 4G has a slide-out PlayStation-like gamepad along with a 4-inch touchscreen display with 854 x 480 resolution. The Xperia Play 4G is sports a 1GHz single-core processor, 512MB of RAM, 400MB of internal storage, and a 1500mAh battery.

Other feature on Sony Ericsson Xperia Play 4G are a rear-facing 5 megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash and WVGA video recording, GPS, a microSD card slot, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi.

Dimensions of Sony Ericsson Xperia Play 4G are 4.69 x 0.63 x 2.44 inches and weighs 6.3 ounces.
