AU Optronics develops 10-inch for e-book readers

Resource DigiTimes reported with reference to the CEO of AU Optronics (AUO), that it is preparing to release new panel on the basis of electronic paper. These panels will be consistent with A4 sheets (diagonal of 10 inches). Thus, it is expect the emergence of electronic books
with a large display size as soon. Remember, at this moment for such devices are used with lower diagonal displays, such as 6-inch or 9-inch.
Mass supply of 6-inch and 9-inch display based on electronic paper production AU Optronics will begin during the third quarter of 2009. By the way, this company just recently introduced yet another interesting development in the technology of e-paper: in June, they showed the 6-inch e-book with two capacitive touch displays.
