Balmuda has introduced a laptop stand, X-Base. Working with laptop is always a good solution, lets you move freely and be anchored in touch. But a laptop is too hot, with a horrible heat, make a deadly mix.
The notebook stands are for air to flow better than the portable refrigeration and better, but we must recognize that unless you have ice, not going to lower the temperature a lot. According to its characteristics, they say it is better able to dissipate heat from the laptop, getting up to 7º difference (or between 4°C to 10°C). Balmuda X-Base has body made from Aluminum alloy (through machining) with anodized aluminum finish Stainless.
It has weight about 1.5 ~ 1.9kg and it is available for laptops with 13-inch, 15-inch, and 17-inch;
