Canadian company, Research In Motion (RIM) is introducing their upcoming BlackBerry Bold 9780 smartphone, which will replace previous model, the BlackBerry Bold 9700. The handset had already appeared in few cellular operators.

It is expected that the BlackBerry Bold 9780 will brings 512MB of RAM (instead 256MB on Bold 9700) and a 5 megapixel camera (instead of a 3MP), and runs latest BlackBerry OS 6.

The other specifications (and design) of BlackBerry Bold 9780 will remain same. This BlackBerry smartphone is sports a 2.44-inch TFT display with a resolution of 360 x 480 pixels, QWERTY keyboard, a microSD / microSDHC card slot, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g, Bluetooth 2.1, and GPS.
