Research In Motion (RIM) will be released a new BlackBerry smartphone that touchscreen capability, the BlackBerry Monaco Touch. Unlike usual BlackBerry handset, Monaco Touch is lack physical QWERTY keyboard.

In the specs of BlackBerry Monaco Touch has a 3.7-inch capacitive touchscreen display with resolution of 480 x 800 pixels (WVGA), a 5 megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash and record 720p HD video, Near Field Communication (NFC) support, 768MB RAM memory, a 4GB onboard storage, an accelerometer, magnetometer, Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, and GPS.

BlackBerry Monaco Touch is a global smartphone, which can work in CDMA EV-DO, GSM/GPRS/EDGE and UMTS/HSDPA. It is powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm processor and runs BlackBerry 6.1 OS.

The BlackBerry Monaco Touch smartphone is scheduled available in Q3 2011. No word on pricing at moment.
