RIM has officially announced its smallest BlackBerry smartphone, called BlackBerry Pearl 3G. According to manufacture, this handset is unlike any other smartphone in the world with its powerful features and compact design.
This phone is powered by 624 Mhz processor with 256 MB Flash memory, 360×400 sharp-resolution display (238 ppi), optical trackpad, 3.2MP autofocus camera with flash and video capabilities, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and microSD/SDHD memory card slot (up to 32 GB). The BlackBerry Pearl 3G is support for tri-band UMTS/HSDPA and quad-band EDGE/GPRS/GSM networks, as well as high-speed 3G (UMTS/HSDPA) networks. It is running on BlackBerry OS 5.
It packs a rechargeable 1150 mAh battery and enabling up to 5.5 hours of talk time (3G). Size of BlackBerry Pearl 3G is 108x50x13.3 mm and weighing only 93 grams. RIM claimed it is a marvel of engineering and design excellence.
As note, Vodafone UK has already offers BlackBerry Pearl 3G Smartphone for their customer.
