Bell has official launched newly BlackBerry smartphone in Canada, called the BlackBerry Torch 9800. It will be ship on September 29th while available in store on September 30th. The BlackBerry Torch 9800 smartphone is selling for price of $179.95 on the 3-year contract, $449.95 with 2-year contract, $549.95 for a 1-year, or $599.95 no-contract.

The BlackBerry Torch 9800 is the first device in Canada with BlackBerry 6 OS platform. The Torch 9800 is sports a 3.2-inch touchscreen display with resolution of 480 x 360 pixels, slider full QWERTY keyboard, a 5 megapixels auto focus camera with flash, face detection, and image stabilization, 4GB of internal memory, microSD memory card slot, and a 1300 mAh battery provides up to 5.6 hours of talk time, up to 14.4 days of standby time.

BlackBerry Torch 9800 smartphone is equipped with GPS, WiFi, speakerphone, Bluetooth 2.1, and micro USB connection. Size of BlackBerry Torch 9800 is 111 x 62 x 14.6 mm (closed) or 148 x 62 x 14.6 mm (open), and weight 161.1g.
