Bristol prepares new TV with computer functionality
We are all accustomed to the fact that the computer can easily be turned into a TV set, just connect to the TV tuner. But an UK Company, Bristol Interactive went on his way back and develop a TV with built computer functionality. They has prepares with its two new but not named yet, there are 22-inch and 32-inch TVs.
In standard mode, the Bristol TV works like a normal TV receiver. However, one press of the button turns it into quite a functional computer based on Intel Atom processor, running on the Windows XP operating system. Bristol TV equipped with 1GB RAM, 160 GB hard drive capacity, four USB ports, and an RJ45 Ethernet port. The TV screen resolution is 1680×1050 pixels, and management of computer functions through a wireless keyboard and wireless rounded arm “air mouse”, the role of the mouse.
Bristol TV/PC will appear on sale in October in 22-inch and 32-inch. The price of 22-inch model should be less than £500.
