The storage market will more competitive that Buffalo Technology has just releasing a new huge-capacity solid state drive, the SSD-N256S/MC400 model. This 2.5-inch drive is comes with 256GB of storage capacity and used MLC (multi-level cell) NAND Flash memory.

The Buffalo SSD-N256S/MC400 SSD has features SATA 6.0 Gbps interface, 256MB of DRAM cache, a 3.5-inch bracket, support for TRIM and NCQ. New Buffalo 256GB SATA 6.0 Gbps solid state drive is capable to read and write speeds of up to 405 MB/s and 223 MB/s, respectively.

This SSD-N256S/MC400 will available in Japan next few days with priced at 72,200 yen (around $882).
