Buffalo today announced a new series of external hard drives, called the Buffalo HD-LBU3. It is resembled of the Buffalo HD-LBU2 but have a USB 3.0 interface.

The Buffalo HD-LBU3 external HDD is comes in 1TB (HD-LB1.0TU3), 1.5TB (HD-LB1.5TU3) and 2TB (HD-LB2.0TU3) storage capacity. It is made out of 3.5-inch hard drives that designed for desktop use.

New Buffalo USB 3.0-equipped external HDD has brings internal anti-vibration silicone holders and ECO mode feature, which can consume as low as 0.15W when while idle, as well as Turbo function for increase the data rate.

Size of Buffalo HD-LBU3 USB 3.0-equipped external HDD is 189 x 123 x 39 mm and weight about 1kg.

It will go on sale in December 2010 and price of about $163, $201 and $251, respectively.
