Buffalo LinkStation V-Series NAS Server hits US
Buffalo Technology USA has just exposed their newest consumer-oriented network attached storage (NAS), the Buffalo LinkStation V-Series. The new drives are made up of single-, dual- and quad-drive devices that provides from 1TB to 8TB in capacity. They are including Buffalo LinkStation Pro, Buffalo LinkStation Pro Duo and Buffalo LinkStation Pro Quad.
The Buffalo LinkStation V-Series NAS is boasts a 1.6GHz processor, Gigabit Ethernet, and USB 2.0 connectivity that capable stream content directly to DLNA compatible devices. The Buffalo LinkStation Pro and LinkStation Pro Duo NAS family are equipped with one USB port, while the Buffalo LinkStation Pro Quad NAS is two USB ports. They are packs Apple Time Machine compatibility, which is support seamless integration with iTunes also. The Buffalo LinkStation V-Series NAS is bundled with the NovaBACKUP Business Essentials software.
The cost of single-drive 1TB (LS-V1.0TL) and 2TB (LS-V2.0TL) Buffalo LinkStation Pro is $189.99 and $259.99, respectively, while the 2TB (LS-WV2.0TL/R1) and 4TB (LS-WV4.0TL/R1) Buffalo LinkStation Pro Duo is $259.99 and $449.99, respectively. The 2TB (LS-QV2.0TL/R5), 4TB (LS-QV4.0TL/R5), 6TB (LS-QV6.0TL/R5) and 8TB (LS-QV8.0TL/R5) Buffalo LinkStation Pro Quad NAS are now selling for $269.99, $579.99, $899.99 and $1039.99, respectively.
The Buffalo LinkStation Pro is available immediately in the US, while the LinkStation Pro Duo is late October, and LinkStation Pro Quad NAS will hit stores in November 2010.
