Buffalo has announced its external storage solution in Japan, the Buffalo LS-XL Series. This drive will be release in mid-July 2011 and provides USB, FireWire, and Gigabit Ethernet connectivity. As seen, this portable hard drive is combination of USB/FireWire external HDD and NAS server.

The Buffalo LS-XL Series external hard drive is comes in 3TB (LS-X3.0TL), 2TB (LS-X2.0TL), and 1TB (LS-X1.0TL) of storage spaces. In additional, this Buffalo LS-XL Series NAS has features DLNA / iTunes server.

Dimensions of Buffalo LS-XL Series are 45 x 150 x 175 mm and weigh about 1.1kg. The cost of Buffalo LS-XL Series are 27,720 Yen (about $348), 22,050 Yen (about $273), 16,485 Yen (around $211) respectively.
