Buffalo has unveiled a new portable hard drive, called the Buffalo MiniStation HD-PCT500U2/V. It is TV friendly HDD that designed to be stuck on the back of HDTV and capable to record TV program (of course, on supported TVs).

Buffalo MiniStation HD-PCT500U2/V portable hard drive has 500GB of storage space and a dedicated docking station/bracket, which allowing put on the back of HDTV (see picture).

It can record your favorites TV shows via USB directly on this new Mini Station (again, must TV supported). Buffalo MiniStation HD-PCT500U2/V is also capable to use as regular external hard drive on computer.

The Buffalo MiniStation HD-PCT500U2/V external hard drive should be available in Japan later this month for price of 9,480 Yen (about $114).
