Canon DR-2510M and DR-2010m high-speed scanners for Mac

Canon has introduced two new high-speed scanners presented as the first of this brand to be compatible for Mac

The DR-2510M and DR-2010m are added to the imageFORMULA DR series. Both have the necessary TWAIN driver for use with Mac and Canon CaptureOnTouch software that allows users to quickly scan the e-mail folders, printers, shared or specific applications such as iPhoto.

The main difference between the new scanners is speed. The Canon DR-2510M can scan 25 pages single-sided, full color per minute or 20 color pages per minute double sided. The Canon DR-2010m is double the speeds.

The Canon DR-2510M has ultrasonic double feed detection, while both have automatic detection of page size and recognition of text orientation. The two models can scan up to 600 dpi resolution.

The Both imageFORMULA scanners are already available now. The Canon DR-2510M Scanner is priced at $795 and Canon DR-2010m Scanner is costs $555.
