Canon has expanded lineup of high-definition cameras in two models, known as iVIS HF21 and iVIS HF S11. Both camcorders equipped with high-performance image processor, DIGIC DV III, the optical stabilization system, and 2.7-inch turning display. It has build-in 64 GB memory, according to the developers, it would be sufficient to store approximately 6 hours of video with a resolution 1920×1080 pixels at maximum capacity. Additionally, you can use removable flash-card, SDHC card.

Canon iVIS HF21 is equipped 1/4-inch CMOS matrix and lens with a 15x optical zoom. In the camcorder iVIS HF S11 used 1/2.6-inch CMOS sensor and a lens with a 10x optical zoom. Both new products are equipped with stereo microphone, HDMI Interface, as well as the USB port.

The size of the iVIS HF21 camera is 124x70x62 mm and weight is about 400g includes with batteries and accessories. Canon iVIS HF S11 has dimensions 136x70x69 mm and weighs about 500g.

Canon iVIS HF21 and iVIS HF S11 will available in Japan market for next month, as an additional enhancement to the Canon iVIS HF21 will be offered a special case for underwater shooting.
