Canon Ixus 510 HS and 240 HS cameras with built-in Wi-Fi

Canon has officially announced a couple of compact cameras, the Canon Ixus 510 HS and the Canon Ixus 240 HS. Both point-and-shoot cameras are delivers touch-screen support and fusing first-class design with a highly-pocketable, luxurious and chic-looks.

Canon Ixus 510 HS and 240 HS cameras sports a 1/2.3-inch BSI-CMOS with 10.1MP and 16.1MP, respectively. The Ixus 510 HS is equipped with a 12x optical zoom, 28-336 mm focal length (35mm equivalent). It can store the photos on MicroSD / MicroSDHC / MicroSDXC memory card. Dimensions of Canon Ixus 510 HS are 86 x 54 x 20 mm and weighs 163 grams.

New Ixus 240 HS has a 5x optical zoom lens (24-120 mm) and a SD/SDHC/SDXC memory card slots. Weight about 145 grams, Canon Ixus 240 HS measures 94 x 57 x 21 mm.

Both Canon cameras have a 3.2-inch PureColor II Touch LCD touchscreen display, Wi-Fi, 3.5-stop optical Image Stabilizer, Intelligent IS, and HDMI output. It is able to Full HD video recording at 24 frames per second.

Canon Ixus 510 HS and 240 HS Price and Availability

Canon Ixus 240 HS will be available in March at a price of €320, while Canon Ixus 510 HS will go on sale in April for €400.
