Canon has revealed a new camera but has been in several presentations we have chosen the new PowerShot SD980 IS. It is a compact camera 12.1 Mpx sensor with wide angle lens of 24 mm and a sensitivity of ISO 1600.

But we have not chosen for their design, but by incorporating the display back and touchscreen, such as the Canon PowerShot SD980 IS with a 3-inch interface easily usable with your fingers, where they spend the images, focusing and shooting with it.

But not only that, it has motion sensor, so to see all the shots you make, you should just move the camera with a wrist motion. Besides, it also allows for recording high-definition video to 720p and connected to HDTV via HDMI port.

Canon PowerShot SD980 IS has dimensions (WxHxD) of 99.9 x 53.4 x 22.9 mm and weight approx. 130g (camera body only). It will be available in Silver, Blue, Purple, and Gold color.

Finally, it is powered by a rechargeable lithium battery for up to 240 shots with a single charge and Canon PowerShot SD980 IS camera will be available in October 2009 at a price of $330.
