Canon has expanded its line of compact photo printer, Canon SELPHY CP790 model. The new model is a printer that uses the sublimation printing technology that enhances the quality of the photos. In addition, the device is implemented in design and equipped with bright and large 3.0″ LCD display for previewing images printed, as well as a few slots for memory cards and features an Auto Image Correction functions (including Red-Eye Correction, Skin Tone optimization and Noise Reduction) and built-in templates and layouts for customizing images. This photo printer has allows printing images from digital cameras without connect to a desktop computer.

Canon SELPHY CP790 Sublimation Photo Printer is also equipped with a PictBridge port, a special carrying handle and the container for safe transport and storage. In addition, the user can buy an optional battery pack, increasing the mobility of the printer.

Canon SELPHY CP790 Photo Printer is able to print a photo in a postcard (100 x 148 mm) in just 47 seconds. In addition, supports printing Wide Size (100 x 200 mm), Credit Card Size (54 x 86 mm), Credit Card Stickers Size, as well as Credit Card Stickers Mini Size. According Canon, SELPHY CP790 can make it easy for anyone to produce lab-quality photos. The cost of the printer has not yet been reported.
