Canon unveils new professional scanners: DR-6050C, DR-7550C, DR-9050C, and ScanFront 220e/220eP
Canon announced their scanners line, five new production scanners and two model network scanners, including the imageFORMULA DR-6050C (60ppm), DR-7550C (75 ppm), DR-9050C (90 ppm), and ScanFront 220e / 220eP. Three models to cover the segment called “low volume“. Their key strengths are the quality of scanning in black-and-white or grayscale, with a capacity for high color scanning, with embedded processor, enabling integrated JPEG compression. These scanners will be marketed in May.
Equipped with automatic document feeder with a capacity of 300 to 500 sheets A3, they are able to scan documents up to A1. All three scanners are suitable for intensive use, covering scanning requirements of between 12000 pages / day for the DR-6050C and 18000 pages / day for the DR-9050C.
Second presented the imageFORMULA ScanFront 220e / 220eP network scanners are color A4 models. The ScanFront 220e (standard model) and 220eP (professional model) incorporate the eCopy software, which simplifies the tasks of the administrator in interfacing with the current messaging systems (Lotus Notes servers, MS Exchange and LDAP). eCopy enables management and secure sending scanned documents to an email, file server or workstation. The ScanFront 220e and 220eP reach speeds of 26 ppm scanning in B & W and 16 ppm in color. In duplex mode, thanks to the presence of 2 units of simultaneous capture, scanning is done more quickly. These scanners meet the need of scanning 1000 pages / day. The ScanFront 220eP comes with integrated fingerprint scanner. They come bundled with eCopy Desktop, eCopy ShareScan Services Manager and eCopy ShareScan Administration Console software. These scanners will also be marketed in May.
