Together with Casio Exilim EX-S200 and EX-Z800 pair of 14MP compact camera, Casio has officially introduced another Exilim series camera in Japan namely the Casio Exilim EX-Z2300. The new camera will be available in five different colors, lavender, black, turquoise, beige and pink.

New Casio Exilim EX-Z2300 camera packs a wide-angle lens with 5x optical zoom (26-130 mm focal length), 14.1 megapixel CCD sensor with 1/2.3-inch diagonal, Exilim Engine 5.0 image processor, image stabilization mechanism, 3-inch LCD display, 35MB of onboard memory, and SD/SDHC memory card slot.

The Casio Exilim EX-Z2300 camera supports 720p HD video recording with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels at 30fps, and maximum sensitivity of 3200 ISO.
