Casio G’zOne Rock, new rugged phone on Verizon
Verizon Wireless, one of the largest North American mobile operators, announced latest Casio mobile phone, Casio G’zOne Rock (pronounced Jeez_wun), performed in rugged phones. It is clamshell form factor, also capable withstand water, shock, dust, vibration, humidity, salt fog, solar radiation, altitude, and high and low temperature storage.
Casio G’zOne Rock phone is supports networks EV-DO Rev. A. The Casio G’zOne Rock is equipped with GPS receiver, 2-megapixel camera with flash and video recording capability. There is also a built-in audio player, controlled through touch-sensitive keys on the sub-display, and wireless and Bluetooth module.
Furthermore, the Casio G’zOne Rock is supports push-to-talk, in which the phone can be used almost like walkie-talkie. The Casio G’zOne Rock is equipped with a pre-application for Rock’s advanced G’zGear, active lifestyle software and supports six modes of operation: Earth Compass, Astro Calendar, Sunrise Sunset, Tides, Walking Counter (built-in pedometer) and Thermometer.
The price of Casio G’zOne Rock phone is $149.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate with the conclusion of a two-year contract. It is available in Matte black color.
