Casio IT-800 RGC-35 PDA for outdoor use
Japanese company, Casio has announced industrial PDA with functions and performance ideal for outdoor use, Casio IT-800 RGC-35.
The Casio IT-800 RGC-35 PDA has case of durable plastic and the appropriate level of protection, IP54. It is using ISO 13407 human-centered design processes. Casio IT-800 RGC-35 PDA can withstand drops from a height of 1.5 meters, it can operate over a wide temperature range: from minus 20 to plus 50 degrees Celsius, it makes suitable for outdoor use, even on hot, cold, or rainy days. In addition, the Casio IT-800 RGC-35 PDA is resistance of dust and splash.
The Casio IT-800 RGC-35 PDA is equipped with a 3.7-inch VGA touchscreen display with 640×480 pixels, 2 megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash, GPS receiver, card reader, bar code scanner, 128MB and 256 MB of integrated memory, a slot for microSDHC with up to 32GB, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g, Bluetooth v2.0 + EDR, IR port, and 3.5-mm audio connector.
Casio IT-800 RGC-35 PDA is operates under new Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional, but it is based on 624MHz Marvell PXA320 processor. Casio IT-800 RGC-35 PDA supports networks GSM/GPRS/EDGE and UMTS/HSDPA. It has weight 335g.
The Casio IT-800 RGC-35 PDA will be produced in several configurations. There is no word about price or availability on market.
